Radisson Hotel York

Exceptional Stay – Highly Recommended We stayed at the Radisson in York this weekend while taking our son back to university. It was our first time staying here, as we would normally choose the Hilton, but from the moment we arrived we were completely won over. We were greeted on reception by a lovely lady called Bee, who was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful. She genuinely wanted us to enjoy the full Radisson experience, and her warmth immediately set the tone for our stay. Our room was immaculate, very spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location, making it a perfect base for York. This morning, the lady on reception was once again so polite and extremely friendly, which really made our departure just as pleasant as our arrival. It was genuinely a joy to stay here. We visit York on a regular basis, and I can confidently say that the Radisson will now be our first-choice hotel going forward. Many thanks to the Radisson team for such a wonderful stay. Highly recommended. Staff did their best to make sure you had a pleasant stay. The rooms were comfortable and really lovely. Thank you Richard for sorting out our parking and for our lovely room for our joint birthday. I recommended getting parking early,but NCP is about 5 min away if the hotel parking area is full. Facilities were excellent. Location is brilliant. Shops and restaurants close by. Had a fantastic time.Thank you all.

Great one nighter. Lovely spacious room overlooking the river. Clean and well supplied. Good breakfast plenty of choice. Staff lovely throughout. Great location for sights.

My husband and I had a lovely one night stay at the Radisson. All staff we encountered were friendly. The room was very nice, a little smaller than expected but no big deal. We had a fabulous view overlooking the river with the minster in the distance. The breakfast room was lovely and the food on offer was excellent. The cooked breakfast though would definitely bwnefit from mushrooms, hash browns and tomatoes being offered. Would certainly stay again.

Great location, phoned ahead to ask about parking and they advised to try as some cars had left before we arrived as guests had checked out, luckily we got a space.. all staff are really welcoming and the place is spotless and smells lovely! Quite possibly one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in the UK. We stayed in room 701 & the view was amazing I’m so glad we booked this hotel! Bed was firm and comfortable, bathroom was small but neat and functional! And as all in York, it was a short walk to everything in the other side of the river!

Great location, easy walking distance to city centre. Rooms clean, tidy and spacious. Only real let down was breakfast: as a vegetarian the hot food choice was limited to Beans, toast and eggs, no veggie sausages, no hash browns and no mushrooms. Chef said that it was a month trial of a new menu so might go back to normal before long. Cold / continental breakfast was decent though but was hoping for a warm start to the day.

Really nice hotel, staff were so friendly and accommodating. we stayed on the 6th floor and had amazing views over the river and beyond. room was spacious and very clean. great location and parking facilities are limited but we didn't have a problem

The rooms had plenty of space. The air conditioning did not work very well and made quite a loud noise. However it was only for one night and managed to get some sleep. everything Was up to Standards And would stay there again, minus the Aircon.
